Social Worker | Behaviour Support Practitioner- Complex Needs, Forensic & Sexology
Master of Social Work - MSW - University of Western Australia
I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable people.
My areas of interest include trauma, sexuality, forensic, and mental health. I bring a unique systemic understanding to my work and truly value the importance of micro-level interventions.I have experience working in both corporate and community spaces- including child welfare, youth work, forensic, mental health, and NDIS.
Coming from a multicultural background, I am conscious of sensitivity to cultural diversity and safe practices, enabling me to effectively engage with individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds.
I am passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities and providing support to their families and carers. I have strong knowledge and experience working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities across Western Australia and Victoria, providing culturally sensitive mental health assessments and support.
Jasmin Carrington
I have a profound commitment to improving the lives of others, and have gained extensive experience in various fields within Social Work, including child protection, mental health, aged care and disability support within the NDIS.
I have also worked closely with our Indigenous & Torres Stait Islander children, families and communities and thus have a strong commitment to culturally sensitive practice.
As a registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, I am dedicated to implementing strategies that promote positive outcomes for individuals and their support networks. My work is deeply rooted in the values of empathy, respect, and belief in the potential of every individual.
I approach my work with authenticity and compassion, driven by a genuine commitment to helping others build confidence, connection, and growth.

About KINDSET
Kindset is a trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and values-led practice supporting individuals with complex needs across disability, mental health, forensic, and community settings across Perth and regional WA.
We work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, support providers, public health services, mental health teams, justice systems, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to deliver person-centred care that supports safety, healing, capacity building, and meaningful growth.

Role Description
We are seeking clinicians with an interest and experience in complex needs, including:
Forensic disability
Complex trauma
Mental health and psychosocial disability
High-risk behaviours
Problematic sexualised behaviours
Dual disability and intersecting support needs
The role involves conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA), Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), psychosocial and risk assessments, developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, and delivering therapeutic and capacity-building interventions for individuals with complex support needs.
