I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable people.
My areas of interest include trauma, sexuality, forensic, and mental health. I bring a unique systemic understanding to my work and truly value the importance of micro-level interventions.I have experience working in both corporate and community spaces- including child welfare, youth work, forensic, mental health, and NDIS.
Coming from a multicultural background, I am conscious of sensitivity to cultural diversity and safe practices, enabling me to effectively engage with individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds.
I am passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities and providing support to their families and carers. I have strong knowledge and experience working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities across Western Australia and Victoria, providing culturally sensitive mental health assessments and support.
Jasmin Carrington
I have a profound commitment to improving the lives of others, and have gained extensive experience in various fields within Social Work, including alcohol and other drugs (AOD) counselling, child protection, mental health, and working to support individuals with disabilities (NDIS).
I have also worked closely with our Indigenous & Torres Stait Islander children, families and communities and thus have a strong commitment to culturally sensitive practice.
As a registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, I am dedicated to implementing strategies that promote positive outcomes for individuals and their communities.
My work is deeply rooted in the values of empathy, respect, and believe in the potential of every individual.
I approach my work with authenticity and compassion, driven by a genuine commitment to helping others build confidence, connection, and growth.
